The Vanderford Family

This was an exciting photo session with the Vanderford family.  They wanted the works:  dress up, clothing change and dogs all in the snow and before Christmas!  We had to wait for the snow, but it came, thank the Lord.

The heels in the snow were a surprise to me, but we made it work and it is one of my favorite photos.

The dogs were also a surprise to me, but that is the photo they chose for their Christmas cards.

Lastly, the sleds were a surprise to me, but those were some fun photos.

The clothing change allowed me to get the photo I saw as I was scouting the site and it was the Vanderford favorite to be forever remembered on their wall.  I am looking forward to their final order.

Class of 2019

Jason, I am sorry it has taken me so long to get this up on my website.  I am ready to post some family sessions in the snow, but I have to get some fall photos up as I promised.  Here is Jason and part of his family, we did a combo session.  Jason brought me to Crystal Peak Park in Verdi, I have never been, I never even knew about it.  I loved the bridge.  Thanks Jason for this new place to enjoy.  Enjoy the rest of your Senior Year and good luck with videography.

The Horgan Family

HorgansThe weather cooperated last weekend, so we got to take the Horgan Family Photos.  What a cute family! Little boy sessions are always fun because they get to climb trees and rocks and throw leaves. Fortunately no one jumped in the river.  Unfortunately we couldn’t roll around in the leaves because the grass was too wet, but we had fun anyway.  Here are my favorites from the session.

Shelby's GradShelby will be receiving her Bachelor from UNR, I think that makes her a Class of 2015.  However you say it, Congratulations Shelby!

MILES ARCHITECTURE GROUP

The kids went back to school and I went back to work, feeling blessed to be able to photograph some of Steve Miles buildings here in Reno.  Here is a snapshot of 2 of the buildings.  Hopefully one more is around the corner.

I love photographing buildings for architects.  As an architect, I know that these are their “babies”, so I get to photograph their “babies” and find their personality.  This is work I enjoy.
